摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inspection apparatus for a can body welded part capable of inspecting a region including both ends of the can body welded part without lowering an inspection accuracy even though a dimension of the can body and a feed speed are changed. SOLUTION: The inspection apparatus is constituted of a temperature sensor 305 positioned at a prescribed position, a feed quantity detection means 311 to detect a feed quantity of the can body 1, a measurement data preparation means 356 to prepare the measured data from one end of the can body welded part to the other end at a prescribed feed interval, a storage means 365 of the reference data prepared beforehand from one end of the can body welded part to the other end and a reference pulse generating means 111 to generate reference pulse corresponding to feed timing of the can body for each of the can bodies. The inspection is conducted so that based on the reference pulse and the feed quantity detected by the feed quantity detection means 311, it is judged whether a tip of the can body welded part reaches a temperature measuring point S, or not, when it is judged that the tip of the can body welded part reaches a temperature measuring point S, the inspection is conducted by comparing the measured data with the reference data.
