IMPROVEMENT IN INCREASING FASTNESS OF ACETATE COMPOSITE FABRIC

PURPOSE: A method of increasing the fastness of acetate composite fabric by setting a suitable temperature according to a mixing rate of acetate fiber in a preliminary setting process after a weaving and scouring process is provided which avoids problems of quality deterioration such as remains of creases. CONSTITUTION: Acetate composite fabric comprising acetate fiber and polyester fiber and containing 5 to 95% by weight of acetate fiber is heat-treated at different temperatures according to a mixing rate of acetate fiber. For example, the heat treatment is achieved at 160 to 180deg.C in the fabric containing 5 to 30% by weight of acetate fiber; at 155 to 170deg.C in the fabric containing 60 to 95% by weight of acetate fiber; and at 150 to 165deg.C in the fabric containing 60 to 95% by weight of acetate fiber.
