PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a weatherstrip for a seal hood improved in stability when mounted. SOLUTION: The weatherstrip for a seal hood comprises a mounting base 1a made of thermoplastic elastomer foamed material to be mounted on a body; and a hollowed seal portion 1b pressedly attached to a lower surface of a bonnet. A sectional form of a mounting surface of the mounting base 1a consists of a central portion 1c, end portions placed on both sides of the central portion, and a projection 1d protruded with respect to the central portion 1c is formed on only one of both of the end portions.
