PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a work support apparatus in a bending machine capable of supporting a work while avoiding interference with a striker. SOLUTION: The work W fed on a die D is supported at front/rear of the die D by a work support 41 piercing back/forth through an opening part 33 arranged to the die D. At this time, the work support 41 is oscillated up/down around a center shaft 37 arranged in an opening part 33, thus, the work W is uniformly supported. Further, in the case of not using, by descending the work support 41 of a back side, a striker 13T of a back gage apparatus 13 does not interfere with the work.
