PURPOSE: A functional construction material formed of waste sludge is provided, which can reduce environmental pollution by recycling waste source. CONSTITUTION: The functional construction material is fabricated by calcining wastewater sludge at 600 to 700 deg.C for 15 to 20 min, followed pulverization; mixing the pulverized sludge with functional materials such as loess, charcoal, feldspar, silica and mica in a blending ratio of 9 : 1; adding a binder to the mixture obtained in the second step; and compression-molding the mixture at 300 to 600 deg.C.
