PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a fire sensor which never comes off a wire connection part though upward force is applied by a signal wire connected to the wire connection part by improving the rigidity of a rear cover. SOLUTION: In the fire sensor provided with a sensing circuit having an electric part mounted to a circuit board, a sensor main body having a peripheral wall provided at a case and a rear cover fitted to this peripheral wall to form a circuit housing space having the sensing circuit and the wire connection part having a terminal supporting part provided at the case to form a gap between with the peripheral wall, a terminal metal fitting supported by this terminal supporting part and a contact spring to connect an external circuit to the sensing circuit, a fitted part inserted and fitted firmly to the gap between the peripheral wall and the terminal supporting part is formed rigidly at the rear cover provided with a reinforcing rib. The terminal metal fitting is fixed and supported by a notch formed at the peripheral wall and a notch formed at the rear cover.
