PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify the data processing function of transforming readout data or print data into print image data in each of multiple functions of a copying machine with composite functions. SOLUTION: This device is provided with an image read means (2) to transform image light into readout data. And this is provided with an image processing means (35) which includes a processing function common to both print data processing to transform print data given by an information processing equipment (1) into print image data and readout data processing to transform readout data into print image data, a first set of processing functions used mainly in print data processing, a second set of processing functions used mainly in readout data processing, and a data path switching function to compose selectively both print data processing function system (Fig. 4(a)) linking the first set of processing functions to the common data processing function and readout data processing function system (Fig. 4(b)) linking the second set of processing functions to the common data processing functions. Moreover, this device is provided with a printer (4) to print out images displayed by print image data.
