PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piezoelectric transformer and an A-D converter which can obtain high output power at low loading, take out a high output current with high efficiency, attain miniaturization and reliably connect outer electrodes to inner electrodes. SOLUTION: A voltage input 13, a voltage output 15 and voltage input 17 are formed on a piezoelectric board 11, four or more output inner electrodes 53a, 53b are provided in the thickness direction in the piezoelectric board 11 at the output 15, inner electrode connecting via conductors 61a, 61b alternately connected to the output inner electrodes 53a, 53b are provided in the interior of the piezoelectric board 11 at the output 15, and output outer electrodes 51a, 51b are provided on both main surfaces of the piezoelectric board 11 at the output 15 and connected to the output inner electrodes 53a, 53b through outer electrode connecting via conductors 57a, 57b.
