SOLUTION: A WDM terminal station 100a is provided with a multiplexer section 20, an amplifier 30, an incoming signals OSC optical transmission section 10, an incoming signals multiplexer 12, an OSC optical reception section 15, an incoming signals branch unit 13, an amplifier 31, a demultiplexer section 21, and an APR control section 39. A relay station 100b is configured by an incoming signals branch unit 13, an OSC optical reception section 11, an amplifier 32, an incoming multiplexer 12, an outgoing branching unit 13, an OSC optical reception section 15, an amplifier 33, an OSC optical transmission section 14, an outgoing multiplexer 12, and an APR control section 38.
