PURPOSE: A system and method for joining insurance automatically and method for operating a lending machine using the same are provided to purchase subway tickets and charge traffic cards using a credit cards and to offer subway ticket reservation service and traffic card charging reservation service on the Internet. CONSTITUTION: An automatic insurance subscription system through credit card settlement in purchasing subway tickets consists of a ticket vending machine(11), a ticket vending system(12), a credit card approval system(13), a credit card company system(14), and an insurance company insurance subscription system(15). The ticket vending machine(11) enables a user to purchase a subway ticket with his credit. The ticket vending system(12), connected with the ticket vending machine(11), controls the ticket vending machine(11). The credit card approval system(13), connected with the ticket vending system(12), notifies the user of approval for the use of his credit card. The credit card company system(14), connected with the ticket vending system(12), is notified that the user has conducted credit card settlement. The insurance company insurance subscription system(15), connected with the credit card company system(14), makes the credit card user automatically insured against a specific item.
