PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for smoothly changing the edge part, excellent in reproducibility of the edge when a digital image is magnified by at least twice. SOLUTION: Related to the digital image power-varying method, the digital image data acquired from an imaging device is magnified. For original pixels present in an original image, such pixel interpolation as to provide 2 pixel×2 pixel containing the original pixel in vertical and horizontal directions is performed so that such enlarged image as twice as large in horizontal and vertical directions relative to the original image is provided.
