<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image pickup device and an image pickup method capable of making it unnecessary to provide special image blur correcting mechanism, and surely preventing the image blur. SOLUTION: In response to an image blur signal detected by a blur detecting part 6, a sensor control part 5 controls an image pickup sensor 4 to open the electronic shutter so that charge accumulation can be performed by the respective pixels in a period when the image blur is within an allowable range, and controls the image pickup sensor 4 to close the electronic shutter so that charge accumulation can be prevented from being performed by the respective pixels in a period when the image shake is not within the allowable range so that the charges generated in the period when the image blur is within the allowable range can be accumulated and stored in the respective pixels of the image pickup sensor 4. When the total time of the intermittently performed charge accumulation reaches the prescribed exposure, the sensor control part 5 allows the image pickup sensor 4 to output an image signal corresponding to the charge quantity accumulated and stored in the respective pixels of the image pickup sensor 4.</p> |
