PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a voice recording device and method capable of facilitating the starting of reproduction from voice data and capable of facilitating editing operations such as the elimination of silent data and a voice information reproducing device and method and a voice information recording medium. SOLUTION: In a voice information recording device in which voice information are recorded on an information recording medium by dividing the information by every prescribed data unit (AOBU), when silent data and voice data are continuously recorded on the information recording medium as voice data, the silent data and the voice data are divided at boundaries of the prescribed data unit (AOBU).
