PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radial tilt detector wherein a highly precise detecting value is obtained, costs are not increased and also the constitution of a head part is simple. SOLUTION: A speed detector 11 into which a driving signal is inputted and which outputs a speed in the direction along the optical axis of a light beam in a focal position and a radial tilt arithmetic processing means 16 which inputs a speed outputted by the speed detector and the number of revolution of the disk and outputs a radial tilt are provided in the radial tilt detector in a disk information recording/reproducing device having an optical head which irradiate the light beam on the recording surface of a rotating disk and receives reflected light reflected by the recording surface of the disk, a focus actuator 9 which adjusts the focal position onto which the light beam is condensed, and a driving means 10 which outputs a driving signal U for driving the focus actuator.
