PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure a temporary insertion condition for a connection terminal inserted into a connector housing, in a temporary lock condition of a retainer to the connector housing. SOLUTION: Retainer guide grooves having respective guide faces parallel to a retainer insertion direction to the connector housing and opposed each other are formed in sidewall inner side faces of the connector housing, a retainer inserting direction regulating the arm having respective guided faces guided in the retainer guide grooves while slide-contacting the respective opposed guide faces of the retainer guide grooves when the retainer is inserted into the connector housing is formed in the retainer, and a terminal lock is provided in the retainer to prevent the connection terminal inserted temporarily into a terminal storing chamber of the connector housing from coming off when the retainer is temporarily positioned in the connector housing.
