SOLUTION: The lithium - manganese oxide for lithium secondary battery positive electrode has a spinell structure expressed by LiXMn2O4-ZFZ, (provided that 1.12<=X<=1.20 and 0<Z<0.16) prepared from electrolyzed or chemically synthesized manganese dioxide, lithium salt, and fluorides, wherein the lattice constant lies within the range 8.220-8.230 &angst;.
