PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an IC for sound output processing that can reduce an abnormal sound at ON/OFF of a shut-down without the need for a capacitor of a large capacity as a means for suppressing transient fluctuations while keeping the number of pins small. SOLUTION: In the IC 10 for sound output processing that is provided with a sound output amplifier Amp having an amplifier circuit section 11 and a bias circuit section 12, a voltage increasing or decreasing with the lapse of time is applied to an input pin Psd for a shut-down signal, a voltage discrimination circuit Vdet supplies a 1st output inverted at a 1st threshold value to the bias circuit section 11 and supplies a 2nd output inverted at a 2nd threshold value (where the 1st threshold value < the 2nd threshold value) to the amplifier circuit section 12. Thus, an abnormal sound noise caused at the ON/OFF state of the shut-down signal can be reduced.
