PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To dispense with a separate shield plate to reduce the number of parts and to omitting assembly work for it to simply an assembly process and to reduce the cost as a whole. SOLUTION: In a multipolar shield electric connector is provided with a case and a plurality of terminal blocks built in respective sections of the case, and each of the terminal blocks is provided with an insulating block holding a contact group, while a shield coating film is applied to at least one side face of the insulating block.
