MANUFACTURING METHOD OF PLASMA DISPLAY PANEL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a plasma display panel for smooth finishing of a surface in a slit cut on a glass substrate. SOLUTION: This manufacturing method includes a process, which partially slits on one glass substrate 11 in a pair of glass bases and forms barrier ribs 13 in the remaining parts, and a process of coating an ethanol liquid of TEOS(tetraethoxysilane) on the surface in a slit 14 cut on the glass substrate, and also a forming process of SiO2 film 15 at least the concave portion 14a in the slit by heating the other glass substrate.
