PURPOSE: A method of configuring an SIM(Subscriber Identification Mode) card function of a cellular phone with an IP is provided to make a network maintain personal information registered in the cellular phone when a user IP is assigned, and to make the network recognize a user and authenticate usage permission by a transmitted IP when the cellular phone is turned on, so that the user can receive a service by using the IP. CONSTITUTION: A cellular phone designates an IP of a network provider, and designates an assigned IP to a user by the network provider. A GPRS(General Packet Radio Service) network is capable of recognizing the IP, and the cellular phone is capable of registering and storing the IP. The cellular phone has an IP transmission function. If a user IP is assigned in the cellular phone, the GPRS network maintains personal information registered in the cellular phone. When power of the cellular phone is turned on, the cellular phone transmits the personal IP. The GPRS network recognizes a user and authenticates usage permission. |
