PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk device made inexpensive while preventing a sound from skipping in each direction as the optimal attenuation characteristic with a simple structure and improving the installation workability. SOLUTION: Such a vibration-proof member 10 is interposed between a fixed base 7 and a movable base 6, as is deformable by compression and tension in the second direction which is almost perpendicular to the first direction in which an optical head 3 moves and which is almost parallel to the main plane 7a of the base 7. The member 10 is deformed not by compression and tension but by shear low in modulus of elasticity in the first direction and in the third direction almost perpendicular to the plane 7a.
