PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coin sorter which prevent coins from being drawn out. SOLUTION: A coin draw-out preventing means 11 comprises a recessed part 2a formed on the wall surface of a coin guide passage 4 and a lever 13, which is supported rotatably in the coin guide passage 4. When a coin X guided into the coin guide passage 4 is drawn out of a coin inserting slot 5 through a suspension thread 29, the circumferential surface of the coin X abuts against the recessed part 2a and lever 13, and then the attitude of the coin X is fixed to prevent the coin X from being drawn out of the coin insertion opening 5.
