<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide other forms of protection for an insulating rod of a high- voltage circuit breaker or a switch which is easily implemented, and moreover is not subjected to defects. SOLUTION: The driving rod for the high-voltage switch insulated by an inductive gas provides a segment 7, made of an electrical insulating material and two metal end pieces 8, 9 fixed individually to the ends of the segment. A thermal shield 10, made of the electrical insulating material, is disposed between the metal end pieces 8, 9 and spaced apart from the surrounds the segment to form an annular gap 11 filled with the inductive gas. The segment of the rod is protected from thermal attacks caused by electrical arcs.</p> |
