PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an agent interface apparatus by which information matching the taste of a user is provided on the basis of the users' utilization hysteresis. SOLUTION: The agent interface apparatus is constituted of an agent-display and control means 109 which controls the display and the operation of an agent, a voice output means 110, a user input part 111, a function-script execution engine 101, a retrieval engine 102 which retrieves an action script from an action script DB part 103 so as to be transferred to the engine 101, an application program interface 105 which controls an application program, an EPG- information input means 106, a taste DB part 108 which receives information from the interface 105 and which analyzes the taste of the user so as to store a result, an information provision engine 107 which provides the information to the user on the basis of the information in the part 108, and a timer 112 which sets the time in which the information is provided to the user from the engine 107. |
