<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of data compression and an image processor applying the method capable of improving the compression speed in a compression and coding to produce attribute information to be placed in front end from data placed in post end. SOLUTION: In the processor comprising a pre-compression data receiving buffer 21 and a transmission control part 25, when transferring compressed data with a pack-bits method, the processor farther comprises a TAG producing part 22, a TAG buffer 23 and a TAG/data selection part 24, and a TAG recorded in the buffer 23 and data recorded in the buffer 21 are selected appropriately by the selection part 24 to be transferred to the control part 25.</p> |
