<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multiplex transmission unit that allows a receiver side to reproduce multiplexed data in accurate timing to the utmost. SOLUTION: In the case of transmitting multiplexed data to a transmission channel 200 whose channel transmission rate is constant, an incidence period of a medium is used for a unit time, a stuffing insertion multiplexer section 102 inserts stuffing data which are calculated on the basis of a value obtained by subtracting a data quantity to be sent to the transmission channel from a data quantity able to be sent by each medium per unit time, to multiplexed coded data and transmits the inserted data to the transmission channel 200 as multiplexed data.</p> |
