<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that distribution is not performed to other clients since all received messages are unconditionally distributed to a gateway device in the case that the gateway device is a user, though normally facsimile messages received by a facsimile server are distributed to the respective users (clients) according to distribution setting set beforehand, while the gateway device can be set as the user of the facsimile server in a conventional network for which the facsimile server and the gateway device are connected. SOLUTION: This facsimile system is constituted of facsimile equipment 1 as the facsimile server for distributing received image data through a computer network corresponding to information attached to the image data and this gateway device 2 for distributing the image data received from the facsimile equipment 1 through a LAN 7 corresponding to the information attached to the image data through the LAN 7.</p> |
