PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio terminal, a record medium recording an updated program of its communication system software and its base station in which the communication system software such as a signal processing protocol or a radio interface can effectively be updated. SOLUTION: When updating communication system software, standard communication system software is supplied to a control signal supply circuit 8 and a software supply circuit 9 in place of this communication system software. An analog/digital converter 4 and a demodulation circuit 5 are operated by this standard communication system software, and the communication system software to be updated is received via an antenna 1 and is stored in a memory means 10.
