PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spacer which is capable of firmly fixing a member to another member as an object of mounting without deforming the member as the object. SOLUTION: A spacer is composed of a first cam 11 with a cam face 14 and a second cam 21 with a cam face 21, where the cams 11 and 21 are made to pivot relatively making their cam faces 14 and 23 bear against each other, by which the cams 11 and 21 can be changed in overall length. A ratchet mechanism (an engaging tooth 16, an engaging piece 24) is provided between the cams 11 and 21 to prevent the cams 11 and 21 from decreasing in overall length. |
