PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an original transfer device provided in an original image pickup device using a linear image sensor for contributing to energy saving and miniaturization. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a read means provided with an image sensor for reading the image information of an original, sub scanning means 22 and 23 for the sub scanning operation of changing the relative positions of the image sensor and the original image in a direction orthogonal to the main scanning direction of the image sensor at a prescribed speed, separating and feeding means 21 and 20 for performing the separating and feeding operation of separating the plural original sheet by sheet and feeding them to the sub scanning means 22, a discharge means 23 for discharging the original after sub scanning by the sub scanning means, a single driving motor for supplying driving force to the sub scanning means, the separating and feeding means and the discharge means and driving force transmission means 101-112 for transmitting the driving force of the driving motor to the sub scanning means, the separating and feeding means and the discharge means. By switching the rotating direction and rotataing speed of the driving motor, the sub scanning operation, the separating and feeding operation and the discharge operation are performed through the driving force transmission means. |
