PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a level conversion circuit that has a small circuit area, a high-speed signal level converting operation and a wide operating voltage range. SOLUTION: The level conversion circuit is provided with inverters INV1, INV2 that are activated by power supplies Vcc, Vss, receive a level input signal IN, and output complementary low level drive signals and with two sets of high level inverters that are activated by the power supplies Vpp, Vss, receive a low level drive signal, and output complementary high level output signals, and also with a positive feedback emphasis circuit 1 that is a component of two sets of the high level inverters and enhances a positive feedback amount of transistors(TRs) P1, P2 whose sources are energized by the power supply Vpp, which are connected in latch connection where the drain of the one TR is connected via a resistive element to the gate of the other TR respectively and configure a flip-flop.
