PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hard disk drive housing structure by which both of radiation of heat and absorption of vibration can effectively be realized while the air tightness is being secured. SOLUTION: A case consists of a case cover and a box-like case main body where the case cover is fit to the opened bottom. An acoustic material having the prescribed thickness is disposed along the internal wall part around the case main body. A heat radiating plate is disposed inside the ceiling part of the case main body. A driving part of a hard disk is held between supporting members erected from the heat radiating plate to the inside of the case main body. Heat is radiated by bringing the heat radiating plate, the supporting members and the case cover into contact with the driving part. The case cover, the case main body, the heat radiating plate and the supporting members are made of aluminum or an aluminum alloy.
