PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a television receiver in which a control function or a control range by a remote-control terminal allocated to every user can be limited or controlled from the remote-control terminal of a specific user. SOLUTION: Every remote control terminal to which an ID and a priority are given in advance is allocated to every user, and control data used to control the television receiver is constituted of freely updatable general and update- limited regulation data so as to be stored in the memory of the television receiver. A first remote control terminal to which a priority A is given transmits data for device setting to the television receiver, and the regulation data stored in the memory can he updated for a second remote-control terminal whose priority is lower than the priority A. |
