PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide technology by which advertisement having high effects can be distributed and easily received by users and a fine state expression can be made available in an awareness system. SOLUTION: An advertisement icon such as an enterprise symbol can be added to the choice of a user state later so that the icon can be set as the user state. When the advertisement icon is displayed as a friend's state in a buddy list, the user can be informed of a state that the friend uses service or a commodity provided by the enterprise. Since the advertisement icon is expanded via a reliable network constituted of friends in the buddy list, the user gets a favorable impression on the advertisement and a high advertisement effect can be expected.
