PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To constitute a lighting device that can be inserted into a low temperature bath alone by separating a photographing device and the lighting device into two bodies in consideration of handling and to be able to light the side and the lower part with simple structure of excluding a complicated mechanism, and moreover to achieve miniaturization in diameter and volume and weight saving. SOLUTION: This lighting device is equipped with a conical upper box 11, a linear frame 12 of small diameter that is arranged in a cylindrical axis direction along a cylindrical periphery and plural socket sustaining parts 13, 13' that are sustained by a linear frame 12 and arranged in the cylindrical axis direction with given space, where each socket 14 is sustained by the socket sustaining part 13 and a long cylindrical lamp 15 for the side is connected with the socket 14 and moreover a lamp 16 for the lower part is connected with the socket 14' sustained by the lowest end socket sustaining part 13'. The socket 14 of the lamp 15 for the side is sustained by the socket sustaining part 13 tiltably and wiring protected from overheat is carried out inside the linear frame 12.
