PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prepare/edit a three-dimensional(3D) scene by segmenting a specified object from a two-dimensional(2D) original image and allocating it on a 3S space. SOLUTION: First, after at least one object desired to handle is selected out of the 2D image, the sense of perspective/depth in the case of 3D display is designated on the same 2D image. In the image editing system, the selected object is located on the 3D space with the designated perspective. An image photographed by a digital camera or other 2D image is located on the 3D space, 3D image processing such as rotation or viewpoint movement is enabled and the desired 3D scene can be provided.
