PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and a method for storing voice information which are not limited to storage of voice information to a voice information storage unit provided, in an exchange or a CTI server. SOLUTION: When a controller 113 for the exchange receives a voice information transfer destination instruction 206, the controller 113 transmits a voice file conversion instruction 207 from a storage controller 1132 for the exchange to a storage unit 116 for the exchange. The unit 116 receiving the instruction 207 converts the stored voice information 205 into a preset voice file format, and after the voice file conversion is finished, the unit 116 conducts a voice file transfer 211 of the information 205 converted into the voice file format to a data file server 150 instructed by the voice information transfer destination instruction 206. The server 150 stores the information 205 in a storage unit 154 for the data file server.
