PURPOSE: A health food composition comprising several medicinal materials such as Hordei fructus Germinatus, Cocicis Semen, Dolichos lablab Linne or the like is provided which is effective for reduction of weight, promotes the growth and development of infant brains and has an immunostimulating effect. CONSTITUTION: The health food composition comprises 25 to 45% by weight of Hordei fructus Germinatus, 15 to 25% by weight of Cocicis Semen, 12 to 20% by weight of Dolichos lablab Linne, 12 to 18% by weight of Dioscorea batatas, 5 to 10% by weight of dried chestnut and 1 to 3% by weight of cinnamon bark. The composition is used singly or by addition to food in an amount of 2 to 10% of an average serving amount of the food. |
