The invention relates to production of nitric acid at enterprises of large-capacity chemical complex, namely to the methods of reduction of losses of noble metals in the production of nitric acid. A method consists in production of sorbent from the compounds of magnesium, calcium and solution of their chlorides with the content in finished sorbent of 50- 75% of oxide of calcium, 20-35% of oxide of magnesium and 5-15 % of chlorides by formation of the granules of assigned form, with subsequent annealing at a temperature of 1173-1223 K and operation of sorbent by 50-150 mm high layer. The invention ensures 60-85% degree of recovery of noble metals with 2.5% concentration of noble metals in used sorbent, it allows to manufacture the granules of arbitrary form, strength and porosity, it simplifies the subsequent processing, has low cost of manufacturing. |
