PURPOSE: A plasma display panel is provided to suppress unnecessary cross-talk caused by the separate discharge cells by forming an electric field inside of pertinent separate discharge cells regardless of the other discharge cells. CONSTITUTION: A front(10) and a rear substrates(30) include a plurality of front(100) and rear electrodes(32). The front electrodes(100) generate a wall charge inside of the separate discharge cells and a plurality of X line electrodes(110) sustain a discharge state of the discharge gas. A plurality of Y line electrodes(105) are arranged with the X line electrodes as a pairs and scan image data to the separate discharge cells. The X line electrodes are comprised of a first signal transmittance patterns(106) in shape of stripe crossover the front base plate and a first discharge induction patterns(108) in shape of rectangular. The discharge induction patterns are arranged in line by dividing from the first signal transmittance patterns to the separate discharge cells. The Y line electrodes are comprised of a second signal transmittance patterns(101) in shape of stripe and a second discharge induction patterns(103) in shape of rectangular. |
