PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fire detector simple and reliable in structure, easy in assembly and capable of easily waterproofing an electric component without bringing filler into direct contact with the electrical component that becomes inconvenient when the filler is brought into direct contact with its outer surface. SOLUTION: This fire detector provided with a detection circuit having a circuit board on which electrical components are mounted, including a component that is disadvantageous to cover its outer surface, such as an electrolytic capacitor and a lead switch, a detector main body having a peripheral wall for forming a circuit housing space and the filler filled in the circuit housing space, is provided with partition walls which are provided in the circuit housing space and form a space where there is no filler around while enclosing the components inconvenient to cover the outer surfaces by being cooperated with the circuit board. The peripheral wall is provided with a cover for closing the open ends of the peripheral wall, and the peripheral wall may be an enclosure that extends integrally from the cover and comes into contact with the circuit board.
