PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coin-processing device which can pay off a coin as it is,,when a return lever is operated after a forged coin has inserted and accepted as a genuine coin and speedily perform paying-off operation and storing operation for coins. SOLUTION: Coins, which are decided and accepted by a coin discrimination part 4 as genuine coins are sorted by the denominations through 1st, 2nd, and 3rd denomination sorting parts 9 to 11 and stored in a coin-holding part 12. When the return lever is operated, while the coins are stored in the coin-holding part 12, a coin sending-out part 17 sends the coins stored in the coin-holding part 12 out to a return passage, and they are paid off to a return opening. When an article selection button is pressed, the coin sending-out part 17 falls the coins stored in the coin-holding part 12, and they are stored as change in a change storage part 18 provided below.
