PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fingerprint authentication inputting device having a fingerprint authentication inputting CHIP provided with a protection shutter which avoids an increase of thickness while securing the strength of a shutter part, which has an excellent operability of a shutter knob part and which is resistant to static electricity. SOLUTION: The fingerprint authentication inputting device consists of a metallic plate and a resin shutter knob part molded by insert molding, and the end face of the metal plate projects from the inside of the resin. Furthermore, the device has a shutter mechanism consisting of a shutter arranged in the state of being freely movable back and forth and openable/closable, a conductive main body casing holding slide of the shutter, a holding part casing for guiding the shutter, a spring for sliding the shutter and a spring for electrically connecting the shutter and the main body part.
