APPARATUS FOR MEASURING INTERVAL AND HEIGHT OF HOT-ROLLING TABLE ROLLS

PURPOSE: An apparatus for measuring interval and height of hot-rolling table rolls is provided to promptly and accurately measure the interval and height of table rolls. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for measuring interval and height of hot-rolling table rolls has a forcible linear mover(100) sustaining linearity. Both ends of the forcible linear mover are supported on screw jacks(102) having threaded portions for adjusting height. A plurality of moving wheels(105) are installed on the lower portion of the linear mover to easily move the linear mover. On the upper face of the forcible linear mover, a sensor moving unit(110) sliding along the linear mover, a transfer motor(112) transferring the sensor moving unit by the command of a computer(130), a pulley(114) and a belt(115) are installed. A rotary encoder(113) attached on the transfer motor counts the rotational frequency of the transfer motor and transmits the rotational frequency to the computer. A laser sensor(120) measures the height of table rolls(1). The computer calculates the interval and height difference of the table rolls by using the counting signal of the rotary encoder and the measuring value of the laser sensor and controls the transfer motor depending on the calculated values.
