摘要 PURPOSE: An apparatus for detecting metals mixed in fuel and raw materials for a blast furnace is provided which promptly and accurately grasps positions of metal fragments by detecting metal fragments mixed with raw iron ore on a transfer conveyor and displaying distances per positions of the metal fragments with light marking bars. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus for detecting metals mixed in fuel and raw materials for a blast furnace comprises a metal fragment detection sensor(15) for detecting metal fragments mixed into fuel and raw materials transferred through a belt conveyor(10); a belt speed detector(46) and an encoder(45) which are mounted on a return belt so as to produce pulse signals according to a transfer speed of the belt; light marking bars(48) which are continuously installed along the belt conveyor line with spaced apart from each other in a certain distance so as to display current transfer positions of the detected metal fragments in real-time; an operation controller(40) which calculates real-time information on positions of the metal fragments by counting up pulses inputted from the encoder(45) in case that metal detection is inputted from the metal fragment detection sensor(15); and a light marking bar driving part(47) which outputs sequential lighting control signals to the light marking bars(48) that are installed along the belt line by receiving outputs of the operation controller(40).
