PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact power converter which can insulate and cool electrical equipment housed in an oil tank, can be set up in a limited space, and can be secured in a safe state against high voltage and for which oil leakage can be prevented easily, and elements can be exchanged easily and the inductance of which can be reduced easily. SOLUTION: The main constituent of this power converter is divided into an electrical equipment unit 1, a power supply unit 6, and a cooling unit 5 and the oil tank 2 housing the electrical equipment unit 1 is mounted on a frame 4. The power supply unit 6 and cooling unit 5 are housed in a space formed under the frame 4. Therefore, the converter can be set up in a limited space and can be constituted in a compact structure. |
