PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide advertisement distribution device and method making it possible for a user to reduce time and information volume to be used for advertisement distribution by distributing advertisement by a text format and making it possible for an advertiser to distribute advertisement in accordance with the information volume of the advertisement itself. SOLUTION: The advertisement distribution device 10 is constituted of a communication means 2 for transmitting/receiving data to/from a contents server 90 via the Internet 100, a control means 4 for processing respective parts of the device 10, an advertisement data base 6 for previously registering the advertisement of the text format (hereinafter referred to as 'text advertisement') which is to be distributed to the server 90, and the like. The device 10 extracts a prescribed text advertisement from the data base 6 in accordance with an advertisement distribution request from the server 90 and distributes the extracted advertisement to the server 90 via the Internet 100. |
