PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable power unit having a component structure easy to carry, and is capable of efficiently supplying photoreceiving power. SOLUTION: The portable power unit is provided with a cell 3 for converting light to electricity, an output unit 91 of the cell, a cable 92 connected to the cell through the output unit, a box 11 for housing a control circuit and a secondary battery that are connected via the cable, and output units 97, 98 that supply DC power to an external device 10 from the box.
