PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a manual operation by an operator without installing a particular mechanism in an automatic switching device for a power source that automatically switches a power-supply system to an electric load so as to supply power output by an engine generator upon a power failure of an ordinary power-source system to the electric load. SOLUTION: Operating units 60a, 65a capable of pushing plungers 60, 65 in from outside are respectively mounted in one piece to the plungers 60, 65 of a first and second solenoids 56, 57 capable of generating an electromagnetic force that turns a seesaw-type turning member 54, which is able to turn between a first turning position that conducts common contact 53 to a first contact 51 and a second turning position that conducts the common contact 53 to a second individual contact 52, to one side of either the first or the second turning position.
