A member 2 provided with a socket 3 for the reception of a cigarette or cigar has an axial bore 5 formed with a worm-groove which meshes with a worm-thread 7 on the outside of a sleeve 6 having a lateral projection or projections engaging in an axial slot or'slots in the bore of a member 10 secured to the holder mouthpiece 1. The members are detachably connected, as by a spring-ring 13 engaging in grooves 14, 15 of the members, and when relatively rotated in one direction the sleeve moves into the socket to eject a cigarette or cigar stub. The rear end of member 10 may be extended to form a filterreceiving chamber. The unit formed by the members and the sleeve may be detachably or permanently secured to the mouthpiece. |
